What a BookIntel report covers
A BookIntel report is a dossier of AI-written notes about the manuscript you uploaded and the listing fields you are about to fill in on Amazon KDP. The sections below are the ones the product generates. The scan does not include a human edit, a cover file, a live Amazon update, or a sales guarantee.
How the paid tiers map to the dossier
Checkout prices on the homepage are the current prices. They are one-time charges, not a subscription. Starter is $39.99 and is sold as five areas: KDP keywords, trope and genre analysis, opening-page notes, market positioning, and a short field summary. Full Intel is $59.99 and adds the final assessment, AMS ad keywords, pricing notes, comparable titles, series notes, and cover notes. Full Intel plus Devil's Advocate is $79.99. Full Intel plus Field Agent is $89.99. Complete Clearance is $109.99 and includes Full Intel plus both of those add-ons. The 5-Report Intelligence Pack is $179.99 for five Full Intel reports. The 10-Report Analyst Pack is $329.99 for ten Full Intel reports. Bundle credits stay on the account and do not expire.
The report generator stores a fixed set of fields, and the tier you buy is what the product page says you are purchasing. Do not assume a Starter dossier includes the Full Intel add-ons. Devil's Advocate is generated for the Devil's Advocate tier and for Complete Clearance. Field Agent is generated for the Field Agent tier and for Complete Clearance. A short ad-copy draft is generated with a completed scan across tiers. If a section is missing because generation failed, the report status shows the failure, and support can look up the report ID.
Listing notes the dossier can include
Keyword notes are written for KDP's seven keyword slots. Each entry is a phrase plus a placement note, such as whether the model suggests the keyword field, the description, or the subtitle. If you attached keyword research, the notes can also carry search volume and a competition figure from that source. Those figures are not Amazon's official statistics. If you did not attach a source, do not treat a bare number as a live measurement.
Category notes suggest browse paths for the markets you selected on the form (US, UK, CA, AU, DE, FR, ES, and IT are the choices). Each suggestion can include an entry keyword, a market label, and a rationale. Confirm the path still exists in the KDP category picker before you rely on it. A path in the dossier is not an approval from Amazon.
The description field is a draft product-page description, formatted with simple HTML such as bold and line breaks, written to sit in the range of a typical Amazon description. Subtitle notes offer options with a rationale and a searchability score the model assigns. Both are copy you edit. They are not uploaded anywhere until you paste them.
Full Intel adds AMS ad keywords, a list of phrases aimed at Amazon ads, and a pricing note with a recommended price, a low end, a high end, and a rationale. The price note is not a royalty calculator you can file with Amazon, and it is not a promise of earnings. Comparable titles are suggestions with a title, an author, an ASIN, and a rationale when the model returns them. Look up every ASIN. Series notes discuss whether the material supports more books. Cover notes discuss the cover brief. They are not a jacket file and they are not a design engagement.
Story notes the dossier can include
Trope and genre notes identify dominant tropes in the manuscript and comment on how familiar they are likely to feel to readers of that genre. Opening-page notes look at the start of the file you uploaded: hook, clarity, and whether a reader is given a reason to continue. The field summary is a short strategic briefing that ties those observations together. These sections are more useful when the upload contains real pages.
The final assessment, included with Full Intel, is a closing verdict with the evidence the model cites. The public module list describes that stamp in plain language: a strong market position, revision required, or inconclusive. Read it as a label on the AI's own notes, not as a grade from a publisher and not as a prediction of rank.
A completed scan can also attach ad-copy drafts. The generator writes short lines for Amazon sponsored ads and for other short formats it is built to draft, including search ads and social ads. They are drafts with length limits in the generator, not campaigns that have been approved or placed. Edit them. Do not assume a draft meets the current character rules of an ad platform without checking.
Optional Devil's Advocate and Field Agent
Devil's Advocate is an adversarial AI critique sold with Full Intel at $79.99, and included again in Complete Clearance at $109.99. It is written as a hostile pass over commercial and craft weak spots: the hook, the opening, trope fatigue, character weakness, pacing drag, and market-positioning problems, ending with a salvage note. The product's own instruction to that pass says it is not a developmental edit. It is a list of failure modes. It can be unfair, generic, or simply wrong. Use it to decide what to reread, not as a verdict from an editor you hired.
Field Agent is a simulated reader debrief sold with Full Intel at $89.99, and included in Complete Clearance. The debrief covers hook strength, character engagement, a pacing signal map of drag and tension, drop-off risk including early-chapter retention estimates, whether the genre promise appears to be met, and emotional highs and lows, plus a short list of recommendations. It is a model's impression of a reader, not a panel of readers, and not a chapter-by-chapter map of the entire manuscript. Scores inside it are part of the generated text. They are not measured completion rates from Amazon.
Exports, and what the report leaves out
From a completed dossier you can export PDF, DOCX, or a keyword CSV, and you can keep private notes on a section. You can regenerate an individual listing section after the report is complete. Regeneration runs the model again. It does not fetch a new official Amazon report. Most scans finish in a few minutes, often under three. That is typical, not a guaranteed clock.

Are search volumes in the report official Amazon numbers?
No. Search-volume and competition figures appear only when a data source supplies them, such as research you paste, Amazon autocomplete, or Rainforest when an API key is configured. They are not Amazon's official statistics.
Does the report include a developmental edit?
No. Devil's Advocate is an AI critique of weak spots, and Field Agent is a simulated reader debrief. Neither is a human developmental editor.
