Which AI does this check?

One OpenAI model, answering from its training data without web search. ChatGPT with browsing, Google's AI Overviews, Perplexity and others can give different answers.

Why doesn't the AI know my book?

Most books, especially new or independently published ones, aren't covered in enough places online for a model to learn about them. That's normal and it doesn't reflect the quality of the book.

Does the AI see the details I type?

No. It only gets the title and author name. Your genre, year and premise stay on our server and are only used to compare against the AI's answer.

Why is it limited to a few checks a day?

Each check costs us money to run, so each visitor gets three free checks per day.
